Happy Hour Meetup April 5th

Liberty On The Rocks (Red Rocks) is celebrating!  It’s our

One Year Anniversary Extravaganza! – Up On The Roof (maybe even on the patio, weather permitting)!!!

Red Rocks is going “old school” (without a scheduled speaker) in order to deliver one rockin’ party of fun and games, prizes, and giveaways. So lose your Easter bonnet and head on down to Old Chicago’s for the party to be at, the roof to be seen on, and the NCAA finals.

In the words of V.P. Biden this will be one (bleeping) party! It’s also been rumored that NASA will be launching the Discovery mission in honor of our anniversary:)

We would like to offer a special invitation for the original “founding” members (from April 6, 2009) of our chapter to attend and be recognized. In order to better plan for this event, we would appreciate that all planning to attend please RSVP on Facebook or to sacco@LibertyOnTheRocks.org , and if you are a founding member, please identify yourself as such when you do RSVP.

Denver Meets for Liberty!

Join your fellow liberty lovers for a social gathering this Wednesday at the Uptown Tavern in Denver!  This is the place to share ideas with others as well as to find out what is going on the Denver area to support liberty.  We aim to provide resources for all guests so they can also find the best ways to get information on the principles of liberty. Be sure to check out the literature table while you’re discussing ideas and making new friends in the liberty movement.

Together we can make a difference, but divided we are left hopeless.  We are not alone in our beliefs and it’s important to reinforce that. So come on out to network, share ideas and make new friends, so that we can expand our ideas of freedom and save our country from the tyranny it is under.

The Uptown Tavern offers half off bottles of wine and $4 vodka drinks on Wednesday nights. Hope to see you there!

Join Liberty on the Rocks (Los Angeles) and event host Duncan Scott Productions for a screening of James & Maureen Tusty’s award-winning documentary, The Singing Revolution.

The Singing Revolution charts the extraordinary story of the Estonian non-violent stance against a 50-year-long Soviet occupation, culminating in a four year period (1987-91) of public gatherings wherein the Estonian people peacefully demanded independent statehood and self government. P.S. At 7 PM, some of us may head over to Columbia Law School to see the first of three speaking engagements given by former governor of NM, Gary Johnson. Johnson is an incredibly fascinating and passionate speaker, and is currently here in Missouri to address the “War on Drugs” and drug reform for our state.

Johnson speaks on Friday afternoon to Muleskinners, a progressive Democratic party club, at Stephens College in the lower level of Stamper Commons in Columbia. (Yes, he is a Republican. Oh my!)

He can also be seen Friday at this event.
