February 20, 2012

This promises to be one of the best LOTR(RR) events EVER! Happy President’s Day!

First off will be our continuing Austrian Economics series, we’re calling “Ask an Austrian!” Our expert, Ryan McMaken, is a writer for the Economics Blog published by the Ludwig von Mises Institute and he will be teaching a class titled Modern Conservative Thought in America at the University of Denver this summer. Learn more about Mr. McMaken at http://www.ryanmcmaken.com/p/economist.html

Next up is our featured speaker, Robert Natelson, one of America’s best-known constitutional scholars. Think you know the Constitution? Prepare to be enlightened and taken on the magic carpet ride of history to discover the real Constitution, from the author/scholar/attorney who pioneered the use of Founding Era source material for analysis!  Mr. Natelson is a retired Professor of Law from The University of Montana, and a Senior Fellow at the Montana Policy Institute, Independence Institute, and Goldwater Institute.  He also created and hosted Montana’s first statewide commercial radio talk show, and holds the distinction of being Montana’s best known political activist.  To learn more about this national expert on the framing and adoption of the United States Constitution, please visit http://www.i2i.org/robnatelson.php

Mr. Natelson will also be available to sign his book, The Original Constitution: What it Actually Said and Meant. Bring your copy, or you can purchase it at the meetup for $20.
