How Deep Is the Rabbit Hole?
Join us for happy hour this Wednesday evening, where we will be joined by special guest Professor Alexandre Padilla from Metropolitan State College. The main event for the evening will be a discussion about Public Choice Theory and why it matters. But as always, we’ll first kick things off with plenty of networking, cocktails and great discussion.
Public Choice Theory analyzes the political process from an economics standpoint – and we can now easily understand why it has been labeled a “dismal science”! Among other things, the professor will explain why the mechanisms set up to ensure government works well are doomed to fail every time. The short discussion will begin at 7:30 and will run till 8pm. Q & A to follow.
When: Wednesday, July 11th from 6-9pm
Where: Choppers | 80 S. Madison Street in Denver
What: Happy Hour w/ Professor Alexandre Padilla!
