Chicago Hosts Liberty on the Rocks!

Liberty on the Rocks is a splendid mix of libation, grassroots activism, good people, and thoughtful conversation. We are a group of citizens who endeavor to limit the reach of government into our personal lives, to ensure life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Join us for a meeting – eh, drink – to discuss ways we can further our cause of liberty and, moreover, have some fun doing it.

This is first & foremost a social event. Come have a drink with like-minded folks from across the political spectrum to discuss grassroots organization in 2010. Several politicians will be in attendance to discuss their campaigns.

Also take advantage of Fat Cat’s cheap drinks & $0.25 wing deal all night!

Panelists include Mr. Eric Kohn of Urquhart Media, Mr. Ed Yohnka of the Illinois ACLU, Mr. Brian Burch of Fidelis and, and Mr. Kyle Stone of the Chicago Young Republicans. Moderating the panel will be Ms. April Green of Catalyst Strategies.

Our event will start with a cocktail and appetizer reception at 6:30 on the upper level in the back of The Hunt Club. The debate will begin at 7pm and last one hour.

Following the event, we’ll adjourn to the Blue Agave restaurant for drinks and food. Blue Agave is steps away from the Hunt Club at 1 W Maple St. Liberty on the Rocks Chicago will co-sponsor this post-roundtable get-together.
