Celebrating Liberty @ the Heidelberg!

Hello liberty lovers!  Happy St. Patty’s Day! Luck o’ the Irish be on ye..

As you may have guessed, tomorrow is another Liberty on the Rocks Thursday! Folks from all age groups (18+ – 21 to drink) meet at the Heidelberg each week for liberty and libations.
Enjoy 2-for-1 appetizers and happy hour specials while hanging out with some of the free- and forward-thinking movers and shakers of Columbia and mid-Missouri.

A heads up this week: Chad from KOMU may stopping by a little later to interview one of our well-spoken newcomers, Mitch Richards, and to get a little footage of us doin’ our happy hour thing. 🙂

Please bring poster board and markers (black and other colors) IF you would like to consider joining in on the Columbia (and nationwide) Red Light Camera Protest! (Details here)

The Heidelberg
410 South 9th Street
Columbia, MO

Hope to see ya!

P.S. At 7 PM, some of us may head over to Columbia Law School to see the first of three speaking engagements given by former governor of NM, Gary Johnson. Johnson is an incredibly fascinating and passionate speaker, and is currently here in Missouri to address the “War on Drugs” and drug reform for our state.

Johnson speaks on Friday afternoon to Muleskinners, a progressive Democratic party club, at Stephens College in the lower level of Stamper Commons in Columbia. (Yes, he is a Republican. Oh my!)

He can also be seen Friday at this event.

Liberty on the Rocks is on the Local News!

Congratulations to the Columbia chapter of Liberty on the Rocks for getting coverage of their educational red light camera protest!  KOMU, a local Missouri news station sent a reporter down the the location where the group was rallying, in order to get their side.  Watch the story here and hear them educate the media on red light cameras!
